NHS ten-year plan, published in January 2019, which set out the NHS England’s priorities for health care as well as setting out how a £20.5 billion budget settlement for the NHS was to be spent. The plan built on the vision set out in the NHS Five Year Forward View (5YFV) 2014. It outlined a range of priorities including improving out-of-hospital care, investment in primary and community care; improving outcomes for a range of conditions and establishing Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) in England
