10% of the population has CKD.
CKD Explained is a new website recently launched by Dr Andy Stein, one of our co-founders, and his renal consultant colleague and friend Dr Waqar Ayub.
It is primarily for patients with CKD (or are concerned about preventing it) – and their families. It will also be useful to junior (and student) health professionals, and anyone with an interest in CKD.
There are over 100 core articles and a weekly blog that will focus on recent research papers relevant to patients with CKD. They hope the website interests you, and helps you with the management of CKD patients.
In the team are 2 junior doctors (SHOs), a biomedical scientist and a medical student.
They are looking to build the team, especially for renal blog writers. If you are interested in joining the team, or know a health professional (or student) that might, please email Andy on [email protected]. Thankyou.
