An online consultation (‘eConsult’) is a modern and effective way to contact your own NHS GP practice online .. for free, anywhere and anytime you have access to the internet. You can use your smartphone, tablet or computer to have an online consultation.
Online consultations are where you message a GP by completing an online webform. You will be asked various questions, and have the chance to upload photographs where appropriate.
You can access this system in two ways:
These are not for any urgent advice and can take 1-2 days to get a response; and they will only be monitored during normal working hours. They are useful for routine queries.
