Should I use hospital transport?
Even though its best not to use hospital transport, sometimes its necessary. There are quite a few pitfalls.
They are partly because the transport may have to pick up several people, take them to different hospitals, and they are only as good as the information given to them.
For example, if you are escorting someone on hospital transport make doubly sure you have been assigned a place to travel with the patient on the vehicle.
And double check the destination has been properly logged with the driver before you get in, because the driver will continue to the destination he/she has on their schedule even if this is wrong and unhelpful.
